       Maw Tin Soon Pagoda Festival is a distinct destination in Myanmar because it is not only buddhist religion destination but also beach destination.        Maw Tin Soon is the place where the Andaman Sea and the bay of bangel meet, is located at the edge of south western part of myanmr. Maw Tin Soon means Maw Tin point, is also known as Pagoda Point and Cape Negaris. It is famous because of geographical position between maritime boundary of sea and bay and beautiful scenic spot. And also famous for Myanmar Buddhists, a visit to Pagoda which built on Maw Tin Point is a holy pilgrimage.

Myanmar Buddhists respectively called Myat Maw Tin Soon Pagoda is a very ancient pagoda, history is connected with Shwe Dagon Pagoda from Yangon. Myanmar Buddhists believe that these two pagodas built at the same time, 2600 years ago and Buddhism is first believed to have been introduced to the country by the two trade brothers . Pagoda festival always held from full moon day of Tabodwe to full moon day of Tabaung according to Burmese calander and crowded with many foreigners and travelers from all over the country.

         ခရီးသွားခြင်းသည် ကလေးများအတွက် အကောင်းဆုံးပညာရေး ဖြစ်သည်လို့ ဖတ်ဖူးထားပါသည်။ ထို့ကြောင့် သားနှစ်ယောက် အပန်းလည်းပြေ ၊ အသိကြွယ်စေရန် ဆိုတဲ့ ဆောင်ပုဒ် အတိုင်း ကျောင်းအားလပ်ရက်တိုင်း ခရီးထွက်ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ကျောင်းပိတ်ရက်ပေါ်မူတည်ပြီး နေ့ချင်းပြန်၊ တစ်ညအိပ် ထွက်သလို တခါတရံ  ခရီးရှည်လည်းထွက်ပါသည်။  ခရီးထွက်တိုင်းလည်း အလုပ်ကိစဖြင့်တွဲပြီး သွားတတ်သလို  စရိတ်လည်းသက်သာ၊ ကိုယ်ဝင်ချင်တဲ့နေရာတွေလည်း စုံအောင် အိမ်ကကား ဖြင့်ထွက်တာများပါသည်။ ဒီနှစ်တော့ Covid 19 ဖြစ်နေတာနှင့် မထွက်ဖြစ်သေးပါ။ ပြီးခဲ့တဲ့နှစ် ခရီးထွက်ခဲ့တာ လေးကို ပဲ အလွမ်းပြေ Review ရေးသားတင်ပြလိုက်ရပါတယ်။

        မြန်မာပြည် ဘုရားဖူးခရီးစဉ်များတွင် ထင်ရှားသော ခရီးစဉ်တစ်ခုမှာ မော်တင်စွန်းဘုရားဖူးခရီးစဉ်ဖြစ်ပြီး ဘုရားဖူးရင်း ကမ်းခြေတွင် ရေလည်းကူး ရသော ပျော်ရွှင်စရာ ခရီးစဉ်တစ်ခုဖြစ်ပါသည်။ မော်တင်စွန်းဘုရားဖူး ခရီးစဉ်သည် ရှေးဟောင်း တန်ခိုးကြီးစေတီကို ဖူးမျှော်ရခြင်း၊ နတ်၊ နဂါးယုံကြည်သူများအတွက် နဂါးစာကျွေး ဆုတောင်းနိုင်ခြင်း နှင့် ပင်လယ်ကမ်းခြေတွင် ရေကစားနိုင်ခြင်း တို့ကြောင့် ကုသိုလ်လည်းရ ပျော်လည်းပျော်ရသော ခရီးစဉ်ကောင်းတစ်ခုဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ဘုရားပွဲတော် ကာလတွင် အဆိုတော် သန်းထွန်းလေး၏ ကျွန်တော့်မမပုသိမ်သူ သီချင်းနားထောင်၍ နှစ်ထပ်သင်္ဘောများစီးပြီး ဘုရားဖူးသွားရခြင်းသည်ပင် အခြားခရီးစဉ်များနှင့်မတူသော ထူးခြားစိတ်လှုပ်ရှားစရာ ခရီးစဉ် တစ်ခုဖြစ်ပါသည်။

        မော်တင်စွန်းအငူသည် ကပ္ပလီပင်လယ် နှင့် ဘင်္ဂလားပင်လယ်အော် ထိစပ်နေသော နေရာဖြစ်ပြီး မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ အနောက်တောင် အစွန်း၊ ဧရာဝတီတိုင်း၊ ငပုတော မြို့နယ်တွင်တည်ရှိပါသည်။ မော်တင်အငူ ကို အစွဲပြု ၍ မော်တင်စွန်း ဟုခေါ်ဆိုခြင်းဖြစ်ပြီး မော်တင်စွန်းဘုရား (သို့) Cape Negaris ဟုလည်း ခေါ်ဆိုကြပါသည်။ မော်တင်စွန်းသည် ပင်လယ်နှင့် ပင်လယ်အော်ထိစပ်ရာဖြစ်ပြီး အရေးပါသော ရေကြောင်းသွားလာရေးအမှတ်အသား နှင့် ပထဝီ အနေအထားအချက်အချာ ကျမှုကြောင့်ထင်ရှားပါသည်။ ထို့ပြင် မြန်မာလူမျိုး ဗုဒ္ဓဘာသာဝင်များအတွက်လည်း မော်တင်အငူပေါ်တွင် တည်ထားကိုးကွယ်လျက်ရှိသော စေတီတော်မှာ ဆံတော်စစ်ကိန်းဝပ်ဌာပနာထားရာ ထင်ရှားသော ဘုရားဖူးခရီးစဉ် တစ်ခု ဖြစ်လျက်ရှိပါသည်။

       ဗုဒ္ဓဘာသာ၀င် မြန်မာလူမျိုးများက မြတ်မော်တင်စွန်းဘုရားဟု ခေါ်ဆိုသော စေတီမှာ အလွန်ရှေးကျသော စေတီဖြစ်ပြီး ရန်ကုန်မြို့မှ ရွှေတိဂုံဘုရား သမိုင်းနှင့်လည်း ဆက်စပ်လျက် ရှိပါသည်။ မြန်မာများသည် ထိုစေတီနှစ်ဆူကို လွန်ခဲ့သော နှစ်ပေါင်း ၂၆၀၀ ခန့်ကတည်းက တစ်ချိန်တည်း တည်ထားကိုးကွယ်ခဲ့သည်ဟု ယုံကြည်လျက်ရှိပြီး ကုန်သည်ညီနောင် နှစ်ဦးမှ ဗုဒ္ဓဘာသာကို စတင်မိတ်ဆက်ခဲ့ရာဟုလည်း ယုံကြည်ကြပါသည်။ ဘုရားပွဲတော်ကို နှစ်စဉ် တပို့တွဲလပြည့်နေ့မှ တပေါင်းလပြည့်နေ့အထိ နှစ်စဉ်စည်ကားသိုက်မြိုက်စွာ ကျင်းပလျက်ရှိပြီး မြန်မာပြည် အနှံ့အပြားမှ ဘုရားဖူးများ လာရောက်ဖူးမျှော်ကြပါသည်။

       မော်တင်စွန်းရှိ ဆံတော်ရှင် မြတ်မော်တင်စွန်းစေတီနှင့် အထင်မှားတတ်သော စေတီတစ်ဆူ မှာ ပင်လယ်ထဲသို့ ထိုးထွက်နေသော ကျောက်ဆောင်များပေါ်တွင်တည်ထားသော ဖောင်တော်ဆိုက် စေတီ ဖြစ်ပြီး ဘုရားဖူးလာရောက်သူ အပေါင်းကို စွဲဆောင်မှုရှိသော စေတီတစ်ဆူဖြစ်ပါသည်။

Yangon war cemetery , a little-known war cemetery is located on Barwanar street, in Sanchaung township, close to the Hantha Waddy roundabout ( 3 min walk from roundabout). The entrance to the cemetery is in a lane facing east along Pyai road near Hanthawaddy bus stop. The small entrance is a little hard to find and there is no signs or indications on the road.

          Ko Htet Gyi Pagoda is located on Bargayar Road. Sanchaung Township. The name Ko Htet Gyi is a burmese dialect, it means the nine stories pagoda. The name was given because nine bamboos tierd vertically from the ground to top to make scaffolding when the pagoda was built. The pagoda is another enormous sitting Buddha Image in Yangon. There is a large, quiet and peaceful place to meditate and pray around the Buddha image. The place behind the pagoda is quite large and there are many fortune tellers and shops in the compound. Most of the people passed by the pagoda because of traffic and no packing place on Bargayar road . Another way to the pagoda is from Baho Road and you can get to a large car parking.

       Gwe- Chaung fortress was contructed by France and Italian Engineers; Mr Commotto Peree and Mr Naris cooperated with Myanmar engineers under the guidance of crown prince Kanaung and finished in AD 1863. It is located on the east bank of Ayeyarwady river to stop british invasion along the river. It is one of the biggest fortress during Third Anglo Burmese war. It was three stories fortress. There is another famous fortress: Min Hla fortress, is located diagonal opposite site of Gwe-Chaung , on the west bank. Their aim is to attack British force from the two flanks. But the british made comprehensive investigations about the two fortresses before attack and avoided frontal attacks. The two fortresses was simultaneous occupied by british force with envelopment attacks in a day.
There is an interesting history behind the scence of fortress and I can say visitors those who interesting the history can feel the atmosphere of 18th century battle.

       The following two pagodas are located in Taungoo Haung( Old Taungoo), The starting place of 2nd dynasty of Myanmar. Taungoo Haung was founded in AD 1279. At that time Taungoo is under the control of Awa kingdom. 206 years after that, King Min Gyi Nyo founded as an independent Taungoo Kingdom. Then, his son Tabin Shwe Hti and son in law: King Bayin Naung conquered all Myanmar and founded 2nd dynasty which included much of modern-day Burma, Manipur, Laos, Thailand and some part of Chinese Shan states. King Bayin Naung assembled what was probably the largest empire in the history of Southeast Asia.
